As Ramadan 2023 approaches, it is time to start thinking about how we will be celebrating this special time with friends and family. One of the most cherished traditions of this holy month is the breaking of the fast, or Iftar, at sunset with others. And that’s where IftarMe comes in.

IftarMe is a project that brings people together to share an Iftar experience. Our volunteer families prepare delicious meals for their guests at iftar, with whom they will then share the fast-breaking experience. Our volunteers are passionate about sharing their love for Iftar and spreading the spirit of generosity and hospitality that is at the heart of this special time.

For those of you who are new to IftarMe, it is a unique opportunity to taste Iftar meals prepared by Muslim volunteers and learn about Ramadan. When you choose to attend an Iftar at a volunteer’s home, you will come together and experience Iftar in a new and meaningful way.

Over the past few years, IftarMe has brought countless people together and provided a special Iftar experience. This year, we are excited to continue this tradition and see how the IftarMe project continues to bring people together and foster a sense of community.
